What to Expect
The Pre-Visit
I know that stepping into a new salon and trusting a new hair stylist can feel a bit intimidating, so I’m genuinely grateful that you’re here. To help you feel at ease and know what to expect, keep an eye out for some welcome emails along with a digital welcome packet coming your way.
Prior to our appointment together you will receive a digital form that allows you to customize what type of energy you would like for your appointment, choice of drinks, snacks and playlist. I also have a few have a few spa-like amenities you may choose to add-on to your service!
Your hair concerns and goals will be listened to and heard. During your visit we will create a maintenance plan that fits your lifestyle and desires.
The Consultation
Communication is key! Your first visit starts with a consultation to discuss your hair goals, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences. Your color will be fully customized, and I’ll always check in to ensure we’re on the same page before getting started.
I want your appointment to feel relaxing and luxurious. Enjoy complimentary sweet or savory treats, a selection of beverages, WiFi, and iPhone chargers. First-time appointments typically take 3-4.5 hours, so feel free to work, read, chat, or opt for a silent appointment—whatever makes you most comfortable.
Before your visit, browse Pinterest or my Instagram for inspiration. Save 1-2 photos of colors/styles you love and even a couple you don’t.
After Goodbye
It’s important not to wash your hair for the first 48 hours post-service! When you leave Mane & Murr, we’ll have a clear plan for your next visit.
I’ll provide recommendations for at-home care and products tailored to your hair’s unique needs to keep it looking its best.
After your visit, I’ll check in, and you’re always welcome to reach out with any questions between appointments. The easiest way to reach me is by text, and you will be provided with that number after booking!
